Miley Cyrus in trouble for bad behavior? From Hannah Montana to bad girl in
point two seconds, this is shocking fans and the media all over. For a Disney
star you would assume that Miley would keep in mind that she is millions of
little girls idol, and that being on her best behavior, or at least try to hide
her grown up nineteen year old life. Recent pictures given to TMZ show Miley
posing with a penis shaped cake at her boyfriends recent birthday party. What if
these pictures were to get in the hands of Miley's fans all over the world? What
would they think? What would their parents think, I know that if I was her
average ten year old fan my parents would band me from listening to her music or
watching her shows. A group at the culture and media institute are considering
Miley's behavior inappropriate and disgusting, they believe that she is causing
her fan base to act like trashy young adults. This isn't the first time the
group is bashing Miley for her poor behavior. Her video for can't be tamed
repulsed them and lead them to believe that she was a bad influence on young
girls. This group believe that what Hollywood has become so disturbing lately
that it is having a negative affect on girls all over the world. The latest
movies and tv shows promoted drugs, sex and alcohol to young teenagers. Although
Cyrus seems to bee a complete anti-role model she has also supported some good
causes in the past year including animal cruelty organizations and gay right
alliances. What can we do as a country to improve the bad influences the
hollywood has had on our population?

There are rude people in every city in America, but what are the top five cities that you are most likely to run into a rude person? There are always those people in a rush on their way to work that would do anything, even if it means coming close to an accident, to make sure they get in front of you. People who regularly take taxi's know that not many taxi drivers actually enjoy their job and its not surprising to get a sassy comment or complaint out of them more times than none. So what are the top five cities your most likely to come across a rude person? Number five is our capital, Boston. People from Boston are said to be full of themselves and wise mouths. They are said to often brag about their sports teams because of their success. Number for is Los Angeles, they have improved since last year moving down three spots from number one rudest city. Number three, Washington DC. politics are said to be getting uglier, making the people of DC angry! DC was at spot number five last year making its way up to number three, something must be going wrong. The second rudest city goes to Miami, these people are crazy and love to party, some people just cant deal with a the drunks. And the Rudest city in America is New York City. Not a big shocker there, with all the angry drivers and crabby taxi drivers your very likely to run into a rude person multiple times a day. New Yorkers are know for "You talkin' to me?". You can tell they don't want to be bothered.

U.S. Navy could use dolphin to find Iranian mines in strait of Hormuz

The U.S. Navy has concerns that Iran is trying to block of the strait of Hormuz. Dolphins are said to be able to detect mines, therefore the Navy wants to use these animals to find them. by doing this the oil shipments will be able to move in and out safely through the Persian gulf. Dolphins have natural sonar capabilities that would help them find the mines. This would be a huge help to the U.S. Navy. NPR's Tom Bowman says that "Dolphins can lend a helping flipper in Americas fight to keep commerce flowing."

I find it amazing how the Navy is considering using dolphins to help solve this major problem. Dolphins do not seem like the animal to help fight crime, at least not in my eyes. I look forward to hearing about how this plan to involve dolphins works out, and i hope that no dolphins are hurt in the making.

Weddings ceremonies are celebrated and performed all over the world. All countries and cultures have different ways that they celebrate a marriage, there are hundreds of traditions varying from carrying something borrowed and something blue to a smelly bouquet. Along with American culture traditions such as the chicken dance and bouquet throw, foreign brides living in America incorporate their homeland traditions into their weddings as well. Some of other countries traditions can seem a little crazy to us, or at least strange. for example Swedish brides carry a bouquet of smelly weeds. They carry the smelly weeds in order to ward off any trolls. This has been a superstition for Swedish brides for many generations. In Morocco brides are told to take a milk bath before their wedding, the milk bath is said to purify and cleanse the bride before she gets married. In France the bride and groom drink a wedding toast from a two handled goblet. This is so that the new couple can drink together, this tradition is slowly but surely becoming popular in the United States. In Japan bride have to wear a white head piece in order to hide her horns of jealousy of her mother-in-law. Doing this is a way of showing that she is becoming a gentle and obedient wife. In Norway the wedding cakes are made of bread and cheese. This is called Kransekake, it is a very popular cake made of cheese, bread, cream and syrup. In Iran couples are usually wed before a mirror. This is done to symbolize the couple, fate and a bright destiny together. In Korea a bride and groom look forward to receiving wooden ducks as wedding gifts. Wedding traditions vary greatly among different countries, it is really interesting reading about what weddings are like in other cultures.

Everyone knows about the crazy cravings women have when they a pregnant. Some say that with different children they craved different things, and craved them all the time. Some women believe that what you crave when you are pregnant has something to say about you as a person. Researchers have come together to find the reasons why pregnant women crave these things, and how it reflects their personality. Some of the foods and reasons they came up with are, pickles and ice-cream, Mexican food, ice cubes, dirt, steak, diet cola, and salty food. what does craving pickles and ice-cream during pregnancy have to say about you? researches say that this means that you like to do things by the book. what they mean by that is that if a previously pregnant women tell you that pickles and ice-ream are the best pregnancy foods then you are going to take their word for that, causing you to crave it all the time. What about Mexican food? This means that you dont care what others think and you don't care how many calories are in it or how much fat is in it, all you care about its that you want the food, since you are eating for two now you willing to eat as much food as you want. ice-cubes? This says that you are a very motherly type, people always come to you for advice and you always know what the right thing to do is. dirt? This says that you are very unique and you also have Pica disorder, you have a lot of self discipline since it takes a lot of it to not eat dirt even though your craving it so badly. Steak? All this says is that you know a good meal when you see one and you've always been a meat lover. if you are a vegetarian and you crave meat this just says that you will do anything for your kids. This also means that you are a bold women and that gender stereotypes are hurtful to you and you do not believe in them. Diet cola? This means that you are the type of person to just do what they want and not what other people want you to do, you know that things are good for you in moderation therefore you'll drink or eat what you want. Last but not least, salty food? this generally says that you are the life of a party, and very relaxed you don't let little things bother you. You don't care if chips are for dinner, you don't need a big, healthy meal. Its crazy how researcher can connect food cravings to a persons personality. End of Bless Me, Ultima

After finishing Bless Me, Ultima I am somewhat annoyed that Anaya left the audience still wondering about Tonys future. He gives some help to indicate the path in which TOny will follow but leaves it up to the reader to decide Tonys fate. My predictions since the beginning of the the book was that Tony was going to follow in Ultimas footprints and disregard pressure put on him by his parents to become the person they want him to become. Something that I found very interesting throughout the ending of the story was Tonys constant struggle with his religion and questions for god that he comes to realize he may never find the answers to. Tonys first communion was a huge turning point in his life, he was expecting this huge transformation following the service and was excited for a new connection with god that he has been longing for for so long. This makes Tony question his beliefs and feels as though god is not always there as people say he is. This reflects in TOny when he is being the priest for the children, during this scene I believe the audience realizes that being a priest is not anywhere in tonys future.
I felt that the deaths that Tony had to experience throughout the book had a huge impact on the person he was at the end of the story. Florence's death I feel symbolized the attempt in answering one of Tonys questions. Where do non believers go when they die? tony faced many deaths in his life that put him on the right path.
